As someone who suffers from chronic pain and arthritis, I have resorted to CBD products to get myself weaned off of narcotic painkillers like Vicodin. In the few years that I've been using the various oils, capsules, and plant material, I've seen a marked improvement over the narcotics I used to take, and without any of the side effects.

I found that when taking this medicine, I didn't have any cognitive effects whatsoever. Sometimes manufacturers don't do a good job of getting the THC out of the substance, and you can end up getting some of that “high” feeling you get when someone uses marijuana. Fortunately, that's not the case here, and instead, you simply get relief without impairment.
My Wellness CBD Oil Experience
I ended up taking a capsule on a day when I could feel my pain ramping up. As always, I take the medicine with a meal. Effects generally are slower to kick in with pills, but the effects do last longer. After about a half hour, I could feel the effects slowly coming on, and by the time the one hour mark hit, I was feeling relief.
The effects of CBD are a lot like taking an opiate painkiller but without the side effects. I got a body buzz while taking this, but felt nothing off in my head. I didn’t feel high. I didn’t get hungry. I was just feeling relief, and really that’s all I wanted.
The dosage of Wellness CBD lasted a while, too. I took the first dose with my breakfast, and I took another with dinner, as I could start to feel the stab of pain creeping back in. Those results are longer than most opiates, and I’d consider them to be just as effective in terms of treatment.

While I used this pill to treat my chronic pain and sciatica, there are multiple uses for the capsule as well. These include:
- Cancer- While you need to undergo serious medical treatment for cancer, CBD pills can help you with the various symptoms such as weight loss, pain, and sleeplessness. Studies have also shown that cannabinoids can attack the cancer cells themselves, giving your body a natural boost that aids with radiation or chemo treatments.
- Depression- If you're feeling a case of the blues, this pill is a great option. Medical studies have shown that this capsule gets serotonin receptors firing like they should, and does it naturally. If you take this regularly, you could be able to kick out pharmaceutical drugs like Zoloft or other antidepressants.
- Insomnia- Not getting sleep is awful, as you feel miserable the next day. These capsules have been able to give users a full night's sleep.
